What healthy skin needs
What healthy skin needs
Here are just a few of the things your skin needs to stay young and healthy.
Moisture. To avoid wrinkles, your skin needs to stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water every day, using a hypoallergenic soap and wearing protective sunscreen can all help your skin retain moisture.
Collagen. Collagen is a protein that acts like a natural glue holding your body together. Your body produces collagen regularly up to about the age of 25, then production slows down. Without collagen, wrinkles and loose skin occur. Eating a collagen-producing diet can help, and so can microneedling facial treatments, which stimulate your body into producing new collagen.
Hyaluronic acid (HA). This clear, gooey substance is produced by your body and helps retain water, keeping your skin smooth and elastic. As you age, your body produces less HA, leading to dry, inelastic skin. And if you spend a lot of time in the sun, your HA levels fall even further. [1]
Elastin. As its name suggests, elastin is a protein that keeps your body’s organs and tissues elastic. In fact, elastin is roughly 1,000 times more flexible than collagen! And, like collagen and HA, you lose elastin as you age— especially if you spend a lot of time in the sun.

The natural way to rejuvenate your skin

To repair damaged skin, we offer the following treatments—
PRP Microneedling
Microneedling gently abrases the surface of your skin, causing your body to produce new collagen and elastin in response. The result is firmer, healthier skin with fewer wrinkles. While microneedling has been around for years, we combine it with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to even better results.
We take a small blood sample when you arrive, then spin it down to extract your platelets. These are your body’s repair agents. We make a solution of these platelets, then apply them topically and slightly below the surface of your skin in key areas of your face. Your platelets significantly accelerate new collagen and elastin growth.
The result is firmer, more radiant skin with improvements in fine lines, texture, hydration, and skin tightening. Patients often notice improvements immediately after treatment, with the most significant improvements at one month after treatment.
Botox
As you age, muscles in your face can stay contracted, leading to frown lines and crow’s feet. Botox temporarily disables these muscles, reducing wrinkles and fine lines to give you smoother, younger-looking skin. Results typically last for up to four months.
Restylane
As you age, your body makes less hyluronic acid (HA). Restylane adds HA beneath the surface of your skin, increasing your skin’s moisture content. The result? Reduced wrinkles, lines, and crow’s feet, and a fuller, firmer skin tone.
Juvéderm
Like Restylane, Juvéderm adds HA beneath the surface of your skin, increasing your skin’s moisture content. We administer Juvéderm to cheeks, lips, and wrinkle sites to give a subtle lift to these areas.

“This office is staffed with wonderful and caring professionals; they are very willing to educate their clients and provide a great service (PRP). I had the microneedling with PRP done as well as PRP injections under the skin nine days ago– my skin is amazing(for reference I am in my late 30s)! There is an overall lift to my face, glow, and improvement to faint wrinkles and acne scarring already. If you’re able to take advantage of this great offer don’t wait! You will love it so much.”

FAQ
How long before I see the results?
The exact time varies from person to person, but many of our patients begin noticing results before they leave the office.
What happens during my visit?
We take a blood sample— just like the one you give during your annual physical. We spin it down in a centrifuge to distill your platelets from the rest of your blood to create your own, custom platelet-rich solution. Next, we carefully inject this PRP mix into select areas just below the skin. Your platelets starts triggering stem cells in your body to gather at each injection site. These stem cells start changing into new skin cells, promoting new collagen and elasticity to damaged tissues.
Your entire procedure will take about an hour, and you’ll be able to continue your day after you’re done.
How long does PRP skin rejuvenation last?
In general, your results will last from 6 to 8 months. We recommend scheduling your next appointment during check-out.
Is PRP safe?
Because PRP therapy uses platelets from your own body, the risk of complication is virtually zero. That’s one of the primary reasons PRP skin rejuvenation is a powerful alternative to treatments that involve injecting foreign material like collagen under your skin.
Does PRP actually create new collagen?
Can PRP skin rejuvenation be used with other skin treatments?
Yes. Depending on your goals and the specifics of your case, we can recommend additional treatments including hyluronic acid or Botox.
